Publication Ethics
Innovations in Agricultural and Environmental Science (IAES) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of the publication process. The journal adheres strictly to the principles of ethical publishing to ensure the credibility and reliability of scholarly research.
This policy applies to authors, editors, reviewers, and the journal's editorial board.
1. Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting to IAES must:

2. Responsibilities of Editors
Editors must:

Act objectively and impartially: Editorial decisions should be based on the merit of the submission and free from bias.

Maintain confidentiality: Manuscripts and associated information must be treated as confidential throughout the review process.

Oversee the review process: Editors must ensure a fair, timely, and rigorous double-blind peer review.

Take action on misconduct: Editors are responsible for investigating ethical concerns and taking corrective actions, including retraction if necessary.

Avoid conflicts of interest: Editors must not handle manuscripts where they have a personal or professional conflict of interest.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:

Report ethical concerns: Alert editors to potential ethical issues such as plagiarism, data manipulation, or duplicate submissions.

4. Dealing with Misconduct
IAES takes allegations of research or publication misconduct seriously. Examples include:

All allegations will be investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines. If misconduct is confirmed, actions may include rejection, retraction, notification of institutional authorities, and banning from future submissions.
5. Retraction and Correction Policy
Articles may be retracted or corrected if:

Significant errors are discovered post-publication.

Research misconduct (e.g., plagiarism or data fabrication) is confirmed.

Retractions will be accompanied by a public notice explaining the reason for removal.
6. Ethical Oversight for Research Involving Humans or Animals

Research involving human participants must include informed consent and approval from an appropriate ethics committee.

7. Copyright and Licensing
All articles in IAES are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work.
8. Adherence to COPE Guidelines
IAES follows the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal encourages ethical awareness among all stakeholders and takes action in accordance with COPE’s flowcharts and recommendations in cases of ethical breaches.
