Refund Policy
Innovations in Agricultural and Environmental Science (IAES) operates under a fair and transparent refund policy to ensure ethical practices in publication fee transactions. Since the journal charges Article Processing Charges (APCs) for accepted papers to support open-access dissemination, authors are expected to understand the non-refundable nature of most services once the editorial and publication processes have commenced.
1. Non-Refundable Conditions
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
-
Once the manuscript has entered the peer review process, regardless of the outcome.
-
If the article is accepted and published online, as services have already been rendered.
-
In cases of author withdrawal after peer review or acceptance.
-
If the author fails to respond or complete the revision process after acceptance.
These policies are in place due to the editorial, review, and production work involved in processing submissions.
2. Eligible Refund Situations
A full or partial refund may be issued under limited conditions, including:
-
Duplicate payment: If the author has unintentionally paid the fee more than once.
-
Journal-side error: If a technical or administrative error from IAES leads to the inability to process or publish a manuscript after payment.
-
Rejection before peer review: If a manuscript is desk-rejected by the editorial team before being sent for peer review, and the APC was collected early (if applicable).
In such cases, authors must provide proof of payment and a formal written request within 30 days of the transaction.
3. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund:
-
Email the editorial office at [editor@innovagrienv.com] with:

-
The journal’s finance and editorial team will review the request within 10 business days.

4. Disputed Payments and Chargebacks
IAES encourages authors to communicate directly with the editorial office before initiating any chargebacks through financial institutions. Unresolved or fraudulent disputes may result in blacklisting from future submissions.
5. Changes to This Policy
IAES reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be published on the journal website and apply to future transactions.
