This notice establishes the formal copyright, licensing, and reuse terms for all content published in Innovations in Agricultural and Environmental Science (IAES). Our policies are designed to support the journal's mission of open science and legal transparency.

1. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright of their original scholarly contributions. By accepting publication, authors grant Innovations in Agricultural and Environmental Science (IAES) a non-exclusive license to publish the article and make it publicly available under an open-access license.

2. Licensing for Global Reuse
To promote the dissemination and application of knowledge, each article is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This grants any user the right to:

  • Share – copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the material.
    These permissions are granted for any legal purpose, including commercial activities, provided that complete and correct attribution is given. Attribution must credit the author(s), cite Innovations in Agricultural and Environmental Science (IAES) as the source, provide a link to the license, and indicate if any changes were made.

3. Detailed Rights and Obligations

  • Author Rights & Self-Archiving: Authors are expressly permitted and encouraged to share the final published version (PDF) in institutional repositories, on personal or research group websites, and via scholarly sharing platforms. They may also reuse their own figures, tables, or text in future works without seeking permission, as long as the original IAES publication is cited.

  • Third-Party Material: Authors are solely responsible for obtaining written permission from the copyright holder for any third-party content (e.g., maps, photographs, diagrams, extended quotations) included in their manuscript and for ensuring its proper acknowledgment.

  • Publisher Archiving: IAES reserves the right to deposit all published content in trusted digital preservation networks (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) to ensure its permanent availability for the research community.

4. Ethical Standards and Originality
Authors must confirm that their submission is original work and does not infringe upon any copyright. IAES adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any allegations of plagiarism or copyright violation will be investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines.
